I don't know, but did you know Elvis was a natural blonde?!
I really enjoyed rhe taco salad with ground beef.
Gioogle it
Our server was excellent really on the ball. The food was hot fresh and excellent. Love the salsa and queso but don't forget the jalapeno ranch 😍😎 OMG sooo good
Always delicious. Food pickup and togo system is awesome. Employees are friendly and nice.
Limited menus. I understand. Went at dinner time. And they were busy. Food came out quick. But it was cold. The meat inside my tacos. Was almost fridge cold
I had a big group that called ahead last night. I understand that dinner time on Saturdays are wild so there was a wait. No biggie. However, I just wanted to give a shout out to the staff. The host and waiters were all so kind and respectful, even when other customers were not too kind to them. They were great!!
Chuy's is a step above the usual Mexican food place in central Texas. Their full parking lot is testament to their food. Their food all tends to be delicious and the wait staff, especially Trev, are attentive and friendly. Only downsides: the expanded, low roofed dining area is in great need of sound baffles. With screeching children at a nearby table and a room full of other people, our party of four had to shout to carry on a conversation with each other. The place could also use a little spiffing and freshening up. But maybe that's part of the charm?
Meadow the Majestic Eastside Unicorn loves their jalapeno ranch dressing. Visit my Facebook page
Selection is slim right now but it was good. Social distance and masks are being used. Easy access from i35. Restroom was clean. Parking was easy.
Excellent food and service! One of my top 3 Mexican Restaurants! They do get busy around dinner time 4:30pm-6:30pm though so plan ahead!
Great food, good service! We’re In town to see family and had to drive 30 miles out of the way to find this chuys! Thanks for the perfect dinning experience.
It has been years since I visited Chuy's but decided while in town to stop by one of mybold favorites. They did not disappoint. Service, food and atmosphere still 100%.
Fantastic food and GREAT service. No waiting endlessly for more chips or dips, generous portion sizes, and the exact right amount of spice
Chuy's is great .parking lot is clean with more than one exit. Social distancing inplace. Friendly staff. Fun knowledgeable staff. Good management. Great food selection. Flavorful precisely seasoned food. Great price. Clean bathrooms. I dont like ranch, but their ranch was very good.
I do not tire of Chuy's. The freshness of their food, especially salsas and signature sauces, keeps me coming back. Bring your mask and get ready go wait inside of your car since you can't do it inside of the restaurant.
found a new go to food even though they didn't have my usual favorite which is the Elvis Presley tribute dish but went with the steak filled burrito instead. hopefully the Elvis Presley tribute plate will be put back on the menu again.
Poor quality of food here... think they bank one people getting a bit tipsy before eating so the food don’t seem as bad at that point haha. Service was decent though.
Never disappointed. Stuffed Avocado Tuesday!! Not only was my food delicious and service awesome - I sat there and finished my meal while watching two hostesses go above and beyond to help get a party of 18 situated. They worked hard with other staff to make sure they had just the right setup AND they brought back the lead guest to approve the layout before bringing everyone back to be seated. I could tell the family appreciated it. Awesome staff and great food.
This is a huge place with an option to sit at the bar or in either of 2 rooms or outside. The portions are also huge and their chips & sauces are to die for. We couldn't eat the entire dish and had to take home some of the food. Great place for Tex Mex food.
Highly recommended! It was my first time at Chuy’s. Completely satisfied and planning to go back! 👍!Hey guys! I went back as I said, and wow! Food was great. Absolutely great! It was crowded, waited 45 minutes but it was worth the waiting. I recommend this restaurant! Prices are excellent for any budget. This is Tex-Mex time!👍👍👍!
$30 for a mom and kid... NOT WORTH IT! Ordered queso that came out with the entrees and was cold. Big as yo face bean and cheese burrito had no flavor and was a mushy mess. The rice was the best thing on the plate. Ordered a side of sour cream that didn’t come out until after we were finished eating. Still payed for it. The waitress apologized at least ten times but didn’t offer to take care of it in any tangible way. This was my third time here the last two were for margaritas at the bar which were great. I wish it would have been better considering this is a supposed favorite spot for locals.
Always great food. Some places you might go are hit or miss or some locations are better than others. Chuys is always consistent. With Covid keeping us close to home, their family packs are a great way to enjoy the food and socially disitance. Adult beverages to go are also a nice add.
I love chuys fajita meat. Its still good thr next day.
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Creative recipes, almost "fusion" they're so unique. Big crowd eating & waiting. Dark & crowded enough that it seemed clean. Very professional & friendly waitstafff. Only drawback was 45 min wait in chill night air, since there was no room in the inside waiting area or the bar. I got the Chuychanga - delicious! Proportions so large all of us took home at least ½ our meal. The leftovers were scrumptious.✔ What I enjoyed most was the fresh salsa & lip-smacking 𝒋𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒑𝒆ñ𝒐 / 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉 dip.
Always a great place to eat! Even though they have started to branch out to other areas outside of Austin this is one place we take visiting family and friends. Best to arrive before or after the normal lunch and dinner times as it is quite busy during those times.
My first and last visit to this location! I understand when people are busy but neglecting or avoiding customers is a no go for me! The bartender with no name tag seemed very uninterested in serving us. He was only interested in serving others which were not the same color as us! I was beyond disappointed and even more discouraged to ever come again! Guess the saying is true but our money spends just like any other race, color, or nationality! And guess what else we only had drinks and even with the service being this terrible I still left a tip which is not how I roll. If I could give a negative 0 I would. What a way to spend a birthday!
4/5 tex mex restaurant. The service and staff were great as always and our meal for three was on the table in under 20 minutes! This is definitely the most convenient location for anyone in the northern Austin metro area eith access from I35 frontage.
One of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in town. I personally recommend the jalapeno ranch dip. It is like crack! I think about their sauce in my sleep. It goes good with any of their other meals.
Great Tex Mex. It was my first time so they brought out a sauce plate to sample and they were super good. Our waiter, Jeff, was also very friendly and helped us feel very welcome there. Great food, great environment, great place overall.
I always enjoy going to this Chuy's. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a large party including some kiddos under 10. Our server was excellent! The food has always been very good and served hot. Our orders included many different choices of entrees including a vegetarian choice. No one had any complaints! The servings are generous. I almost always take leftovers home for lunch the following day.
Chuys on its own is crazy good Tex-Mex. This place is my favorite location. The food here is a must try for people visiting from out of town. I highly recommend the Elvis memorial combo or the chicka boom boom. For what its worth all of the Chuys are good but my family literally drives up from south Austin because this specific location just does everything right. We never really had a bag experience at the others but they just fall short when we compare them to this one. This is easily my and my family's favorite main stream Tex-Mex spot. I can pick out some niche places that do better on specific dishes after living in Texas for 20 years but nowhere comes close to getting everything right as this location does!
Service was great! Our server was very attentive and she asked good questions while not being annoying. Food quality and flavors were excellent. We recommend the tacos al carbon. The chips and salsa were good but the one slight criticism would be for the guacamole... overall it was good but a suggestion... don't add the lettuce, it adds nothing to the guacamole and makes it "appear" like there's more in the bowl. Anyways, I would recommend this place, I just wouldn't recommend the guacamole.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Great for groups, family dinners or dates!
Delicious, reasonably priced, large-portioned Mexican food in an ever-busy eatery. Wait times can be expected on busy evenings, but should not deter. Reliable as always, if you haven't had Chuy's it is well worth a shot. Is there better Mexican food out there? Sure. But if you are happy with solid quality rather than having the very best, you'll have a great time at Chuy's.
Wow! Where do I begin? Four of my family in town for my uncle's funeral decided to eat dinner at his favorite restaurant. Chuy's. We understand why it was his favorite! Jessi was the best server and took incredible care of us!!! The food was delicious!! Thank you for making my uncle happy and leaving us with warm memories. Thank you, Jessi and Chuy's staff!!!!
Chuy’s is always the best, Their food quality and the portion size can’t be find anywhere else. I tried 3 locations and this one was on I35 highway. At Chuy’s there is always line to get a table but the wait worth it when you get your food. Didn’t mention the frozen Margarita, make sure you order it first.
Limited menu due to covid but still enjoyed our lunch. Our waiter was friendly and took good care of us. Chuy's food is always good and they give you plenty of it.
Chuys is the best! Always consistent. Great vegetarian options, my favorite texmex ever
A definite must to visit when your in round rock. Worth the wait in line. Food, environment, and staff are all excellent. My wife has a red dye allergy and we asked what their seasoning is made of before we ordered. The cook came out and explained all the seasonings in each dish. We were able to order something without red dye seasoning. Boy is their food delicious.
Love this location, always have great service here whenever I bring family from out of town.
Best service, We always sit at the bar! The guys that work behind the bar are the best. I love the cheese enchiladas with the Chipotle sauce!
One of our favorite places for TexMex. We dined outside due to the covid stuff and it wasn't crowded on a weekday lunchtime. Menu was limited and the refried beans were a dry, but otherwise we enjoyed it, as always.
Smaller menu, still really great food. Great service, just remember to bring your face mask.
Waiting for 35 min in the parking lot on my pickup order... "oh we didn't get your text... sorry??" - Food was ice cold, never going to this location again.
Absolute fail! I've been going to Chuy's my entire life (38 years) and I've loved it every time. This was my first time back since the pandemic started. My wife picked it up on the way home tonight and I was pretty excited. To my shock the food was so salty that I couldn't eat it. They also gave me maybe two teaspoons of refried beans. Could one bad experience end an almost 40 year relationship? Yes! Of course it can! Unless Chuy's earns my business back I'll eat elsewhere.
"If you've been to one Chuy's, you've been to one Chuy's." Place was what was to be expected, food was good and consistent with others. Working off a limited menu for the time being, but didn't have a problem getting what we wanted.
Came in for early dinner and got seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly, and food was delicious & came in big portions. Definitely recommend
Limited menu due to COVID which is fine, but I still expect my food to be hot. Food came out fast, almost too fast. It was barely warm enough to eat. I got the tacos al carbon. The cheese wouldn’t melt on the taco, and wouldn’t even melt when I buried it in the refried beans. Best part of the meal was the free chips and salsa. I sat at the bar since I was dining alone. Bartender was too busy hanging out with his pals to even refill my drink.
Nasty place to eat. I’m extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the servers there is on me pretty currently hair girl who’s hair was in the tray of food as she was taking it to her table 🤢my server Nicole never washed or sanitized her hands and I seen other servers use the sanitation stations so there is no excuse. She literally went from table to table with her Silver check tray without sanitizing it 1st. I’m utterly disappointed in Chuy’s. Not one person had on gloves not even the manager
Outstanding food. Which is why they always seem to have a wait. Well worth it though. Excellent Tex Mex.
Always great food, and the tres latches are back. Yummm!
